CREC Vice President REN Hongpeng met with CHEN Guowei, Malaysia’s Special Envoy to China, Chairman of the Democratic Action Party and President of Malaysia-China Business Council, at the Company’s HQ recently. They had an in-depth communication and reached broad consensus on promoting China-Malaysia economic and trade cooperation and advancing the construction of major projects.
REN said, “China-Malaysia cooperation has gained substantial achievements during the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation”. He also said, “CREC is a company with leading edge and rich experience in the field of infrastructure construction, real estate development and industrial manufacturing. CREC will provide more services in the market of infrastructure construction, integrated urban development and affordable housing in Malaysia in accordance with the market rules of fairness and justice. Moreover, Bandar Malaysia will be a good start for setting an example of the cooperation between the two countries.”
CHEN spoke highly of CREC and its contributions to global infrastructure construction, especially the efforts CREC has made in the early stage of Bandar Malaysia. He said, “China and Malaysia enjoy a long history of friendship, and the reinstatement of Bandar Malaysia will make the relation closer.” He hoped that the Company could actively participate in more major projects in Malaysia so as to deepen the cooperation and seek mutual benefits for the two sides.
